Store parcels in japan temporarily?

I would like to order an item that's often sold out. I will only arrive in japan at the end of september, and I'll be there for 6 months. Unfortunately the item I want to order arrives in august. Is there any possible way I can store the item somewhere for the 1 month period I won't be there?

Any assistance is appreciated, any service that performs this is also useful.

I'd start with asking the shop to hold it. I have done it before knowing I was a month away from arriving.
