May 22, 2011 - EVERYTHING'S FINE IN JAPAN

i juz came back from japan last saturday (14/05/11).been there for 3 weeks.when i arrived at narita airport,my husband n i went straight away to akihabara by keisei line, switched train at nisshi nippori n took jr yamanote line.as we knew, the media in my country warned us about the radiation thing in TOKYO AREAS i.e akihabara, harajuku etc which are in KANTO PREFECTURE...but the truth is,radiation didnt affects areas in kanto area.we went to akihabara n tokyo (imperial palace) before we had our good sleep at our hotel in uguisudani.the next day,we went to harajuku (takeshita street, meiji shrine etc) n shinjyuku.seems like nothing bad ever happened in the areas i visited, only lack of lights n FOREIGNERS...the sceneries were AMAZING (cherry blossom).i pity those who cancelled their flights to japan during cherry blossom season coz there aint another BEAUTIFUL PLACE IN THE WORLD LIKE JAPAN during that time.after doing the shopping n all stuff, we went to my aunty's house in takasaki city, in gunma prefecture.my 2nd week in japan happened to be during golden week which falls on the 29th april until 8th may 2011.so during the holidays,we went to morioka in iwate prefecture to visited my aunty's in laws staying there.we passed by tochigi prefecture,FUKUSHIMA PREFECTURE and MIYAGI PREFECTURE.FUKUSHIMA N MIYAGI prefecture are BIG,so dont get confused by the MEDIA.tsunami ONLY STRIKED ALONG THE COASTLINE NOT THE WHOLE PREFECTURE.we even got ourselves to SENDAI AIRPORT to see the post-disaster by tsunami.(sendai airport is located near the coastline)but still, they had started OPERATING NORMALLY.Quite bad,but I WAS AMAZED BY THE HARDWORK N DEDICATION OF JAPANESE CITIZEN:THEY MANAGED TO CLEAR THE DISASTROUS AREAS SO QUICKLY.i knew all the places striked by tsunami(i meant places at the coastline) WERE IN WORST CONDITION,BUT I ASSURE U THIS;OTHER PLACES WERE FINE.JAPANESE PEOPLE WERE SO KIND,HELPFUL(despites the communication breakdown coz i dont speak japanese) N CALM.WHEN I CAME BACK TO MY COUNTRY,I FELT EVERYONE HERE WAS SO RUDE N CRUEL..so if u wanna visit japan,go ahead.it is safe!!!GANBARRO NIPPON!!!!!!!!!!!!
