February 1, 2012 - 4-day unforgettable TOKYO experience
We arrived January 19 around 11:30 pm at the Haneda Airport, a whole day was wasted travelling from Malaysia to Tokyo. On the following day we started our 4 day tour in Akihabara, where we found lots of cheap electronic gadgets. We were fortunate enough to experience snow on our first day. Coming from a tropical country like the Philippines, seeing snow is one of our childhood dreams coming true.
Though it was raining and snowing, we still had a great time exploring the sites and discovering the culture. Japan really offers endless discovery to adventurous travelers like us.
Here is Itinerary of our trip.
Day 1: Akihabara
Ueno Park and Ueno Zoo
Shibuya Crossing
Day 2: Asakusa Kaminarimon and Nakamise Street Market
Sensoji temple
Sumida Park
From Sumida Park we took the ferry to Odaiba City
In Odaiba we discovered lots of malls namely Decks, AquaCity and Venus Fort
Day 3: Tokyo Station and Imperial Palace
Shinjuku Gyoen
Harajuku Station
Departure from the Haneda Airport
Our trip to Tokyo was really one of the most unforgettable trips we've had and we will definitely come back for more endless discoveries.
