After going through customs and immigration, I went immediately to buy a Keisei Skyliner Ticket from the Keisei booth (Approx 2,600 JPY) to Ueno in Tokyo. The process is very easy as most of the airport staff speak English. There are also volunteers that are willing to help you get to your destination in the airport. It takes an hour from the station to Ueno.
At Narita Terminal 1 Station aboard the Keisei Skyliner:
Immediately after exiting Keisei Ueno station where I had to walk to the Tokyo Metro (a different, major Tokyo subway company) Ueno Station in order to get to Asakusa station (also Tokyo Metro,160 JPY) where my hostel was at. I highly recommend staying with the Khaosan Hostel group as they have many locations in Asakusa. Not only are the staff friendly, the rooms are very cleanly. Their rates are very cheap and accommodating to your budget. They also have an awesome bar that's in between most of their locations. Although it's far away from the major districts of the city, with a day pass that'll give you access to the Tokyo Metro/ Toei Subway (1000 JPY), you can easily get to most destinations from the nearby Asakusa station.

Anyway, still jet lagged but loaded with caffeine, I got to my hostel and tried to sleep but ultimately couldn't. Afterwards, I decided to go grab a couple of nightcaps at the hostel bar where I met a lot of Americans, Australians, New Zealanders, and the local crowd. I will soon post the report of the next day for a total of 8 days.
