8 days free and easy Tokyo-Mt Fuji

I'm planning a trip to Tokyo this March. I've booked my flight in (28 Mar) and out (6 Mar) of Narita arriving at 1705. Not sure if the following Itinerary would be

1) Travel from Narita to Tokyo for 1st nite
2) Travel to kawaguchiko and stay for 2 nites to view Mt Fuji
3) Travel to Osaka/Kyoto and stay for 3 nites
4) Travel back to Tokyo to spend last 2 nites 5) check out on 6 March to Narita for 2050 flight home.

Would this itinerary be the best order?

If I could see the cherry blossom season, where would be the best place to see them?

I'm concern if there would be any traffic jam leaving Tokyo on a Sat evening to Narita airport.
