I have checked out theJapan-Guide for Shirahama, which is a hot springs beach resort south of Osaka. http://www.japan-guide.com/e/e4958.htmlIt has the sentence "Nightly fireworks are held during summer." in the description. I have also found a Wakayama prefecture list of event, and have four listings for Shirahama. The events are: "Opening of the Ocean" on May 3rd, A Sand festival on May 29th, the Shirihama Fireworks Display on August 10th, and a White Sand Promenade every night in January. I am assuming that the Japan-Guide is correct, and that August 10th is the biggest of the nightly fireworks display in Shirahama, My question is: When do the nightly fireworks start? Shirihama has a Beach opening on May 3rd. Do they start having night fireworks then? The Japan-Guide Ssays Summer, so does that mean that the nightly fireworks start on the Summer Solstice on June 21st? I would appreciate it if anyone can clarify this for me. Thank You, in advance, for your help.

2012 21 Jul-25 Aug evernight(except 3 days) max 100 shoots.
If I understand this correctly.
The summer nightly fireworks start on July 21st. The summer nightly fireworks end on August 25th. The nightly fireworks are about 100 bursts, or shots.
There are a lot more fireworks the night of the festival, but this is the "typical" nightly fireworks.
Do I have this correct?
