Kitakyushu - Wisteria bloom 2013/3/17 00:12
Hello.
On april 3rd me and my boyfriend arrive in Tokyo. I was so excited about this trip especially because of cherry blossoms. Now everyday I am checking the blooming forecast and it's already estimated that the best view will be till 2nd of april (by now I still cannot accept the thought that maybe I will not see any of cherry blossoms).

But I thought that maybe if everything blooms earlier this year (because of beautiful spring weather) maybe the wisteria tunnel in Kitakyushu will be already blooming also? I don't know how can I check it on internet, there's no forecast for this.
Anyone knows something about it?

And what you think, will I be able to see any of cherry blossoms this year? I hoped for this so much :(

Thank you for your help:)

I know of two places in Kyushu to go for the Wisteria, Kawachi Fuji Gardens in Kitakyushu and Yanagawa.

Kawachi Fuji Gardens are accessable by a Nishtetsu Bus, and by a shuttle. I believe that the shuttle is actually going to the Onsen Spa Ajisai-no-yu, which walking distance from the gardens.

Yanagawa has a Wisteria Festival in April, and Nishitetsu has packages to go there that include transportation, the boat ride and a meal, from Fukuoka.

I hope this helps.
