Miyajima and Sakura shinkansen?

i have a few question. im planning to do a day trip to miyajima.
but im confuse :
1. I only get Nozomi and Sakura shinkansen to hiroshima from osaka. is sakura fully covered by JR Pass/

2. To get to torii gate we must take ferry from miyajima guchi right? after the ferry is arrive at miyajima. should i take bus to torii gate?

1. Yes the JRP can be used for the Sakura shinkansen
2. You get the ferry from Miyajimaguchi station, about a 5min walk to the ferry. You can then use your JRP for the ferry over to Miyajima and then you just walk around to the right, it's about 10mins, you can't miss it. I assume you will be doing more than just seeing the torii. Look at the guide for Miyajima to make the most of your time there.
