JR Kanto Area pass 2013/3/21 22:02
Hi I have read that this pass allows me to use the Narita Express.

Is there a limit to how many times I can use it?

Also, will it be possible to see cherry blossoms in Hakone on the first week of April?

How is your itinerary? Hakone is outside the usage area of a JR Kanto Area Pass.

Logically there is no limit. But other trains can be better for traveling in and around Tokyo. Narita Express is operated as airport accesses. Note that all seats on Narita Express trains require reservation.

That may depend on places and species, but it sounds possible. A source in Japanese says cherry blossoms are still in buds at several spots.

A guidebook in English is found. (The information may be not up-to-date.)

It may be crowded with visitors; you had better expect much time for cherry viewing in Hakone.

Thanks.

I will be staying at a airport hotel (Narita) so I thought the Narita Express seemed to be a better method.

With this pass will I have to pay any reservation fee to reserve a seat?

I am planning to visit Tokyo for 3 days then 1 day in Hakone and 1 day in Yokohama.

Will it be still worth to get this pass or is it cheaper if I bought point-to-point tickets?
