Hitsujiyama Park, Chichibu - blooming

Hi. Do you know if there is any website where I can follow blooming process of pink moss in Hitsujiyama Park? Is it also earlier like sakura this year? I know that normally it's half of April - begining of May. I can visit it this year on 12th of April and I wonder if it will be blooming by then.

I think you stand a very good chance of seeing full bloom of pink moss there mid April. Last year the flower festival was held for a whole month from April 6 to May 6 and though we saw a lot when we were there Apr 27, it seemed that it had past its prime blooming time.

I have a question. I know you goto Seibu-Chicibu, but can anyone give me directions or a walking path to take from that station (or Yokoze) to the actual park itself? I'm just a bit confused how to get there.. thank you!!
