Nikko station to Kinugawa station 2013/3/25 11:39
We plan to see Nikko toshogu shrine in Tobu & Edo Wonderland. We have boughta JR pass in Melbourne, do we have to buy another pass for the Tobu - Kinugawa onsen station or can we get into another JR to get to Kinugawa onsen station.How much do we have to upgrade our ticket since JE East website says that we have to upgrade our ticket to get to Kinugawa Onsen station from Shinjuku Station.

The JR East Pass (to be discontinued in its current form on June 30) is valid on Tobu trains between Nikko and Kinugawa, but the Japan Rail Pass is not.

Note that the easiest and cheapest way of travel between the Toshogu and Edo Wonderlad is the free shuttle bus:
