Time in Inuyama and Osu

I will staying in Nagoya for 2 daysin August. I would like to do half day trip to Inuyama and then spend the second half day in Osu Shopping district. I am just wondering whether half a day is enough for each place. For Osu Shopping district if I go during the weekdays so that it will not be too crowded, will there any any street performances and parade? Any suggestions and advice.

It depends on how much you want to see in Inuyama and your preferred travel pace. If you just want to see the castle and travel at a medium-fast pace, about 4-5 hours can be enough for Inuyama (including the access from Nagoya). But if you also want to see Meiji Mura, it is difficult. Meiji Mura is very spacious and can take many hours to see.
