30 day subway pass in Tokyo? 2013/6/7 06:23
We'll be in Tokyo for 30 days. What is the best pass to get for use of the JR Lines and Subway?

An IC card, such as Suica or Pasmo:

Just so you know, this is not a pass which will offer any savings. It's a rechargeable IC card which will allow you a more convenient way to pay for all your rail (JR and non-JR) transport in the Tokyo area among other cities.

as background, to my knowledge there's no discount for multi-day subway or JR tickets for use in Metro Tokyo.

There are one-day unlimited ride tickets for the subway (not JR), but those are rarely a good value unless you have to travel many times in one day (which is a big waste of time if you can avoid it).
