Car access to Shosenkyo ropeway station

Planning to visit Chubu area in first week of November till the 20th and like to take Shosenkyo ropeway to view the autumn colors of Central Alps.

Is it possible to drive up to Ropeway station to get in to ropeway? Our group are all seniors ladies close to 70 years and plan to rent car from Chubu center airport to visit this place on November 9.We would not be good in hiking or long walk.

Highly appreciate if anyone could advice or give us idea of how to get there by car?

Also during that time frame what woulkd be best places to see Koyo in these areas of Chubu.

The lower ropeway station is accessible by car, but I imagine the parking lot to be rather busy during the peak of the autumn color season. There may be waiting times.

Get there early or else parking gets crazy and you have to park a mile away.
At the absolute peak times it might be better to park in Kofu city and take a bus there.

Oh. Though it most be said most of the famous autumn colours aren't up this rope way. They're along the scenic walk to it from the parking a mile away.
