Kyoto Shugakuin and Katsura Reservations

I checked the Kyoto Imperial Household Agency's website(https://sankan.kunaicho.go.jp/sankan/servlet/recept/initPlace) and there are no reservations available for either Shugakuin and Katusura from July 10-13. Can we obtain a reservation through a tour agency or other method?

I am sure others may have some better suggestions; however, when I was last in Kyoto, I went directly to the office and was able to obtain reservations that way.

People do their cancel their reservations, and it may be worth a try.

We booked a tour of the Katsura Villa on the internet. The tickets were delivered to the home of my mother-law in Kyoto. It was the only way to be sure you can buy the desired schedule.
