I plan to purchase a one way Suica & N'EX for 3500 yen traveling from Narita to Tokyo Station. Does my N’EX cover travel onward to another JR Station? I need to get to Hamamatsucho Station. If not assume I can use some of my Suica card to travel from Tokyo Station to Hamamatsucho Station. Thanks…I can’t seem to find a straight answer on the web.

As long as you don't exit the turnstiles, you can use the transition area of the station to get to Hamamatsucho on your N'Ex. I can only remember how to do it at Shinagawa, but doing it there may be easier than Tokyo Station.

As shown here http://www.jreast.co.jp/e/suica-nex/index.html N'EX ticket is valid within the colored area as long as you don't exit ticket gates. When you buy your S&N'EX package tell the ticket office clerk your destination than just ride the N'EX and change at Tokyo or Shinagawa Station to Yamanote line using only your JR Ticket
