Transition between Haneda Airport to Asakusa

Hi guys,

Will be travelling to Japan again, but i have some questions regarding the new March thingy with the IC card system.

The situation right now is that i have a SUICA card and my friend has a PASMO card.

If we were to arrive from Haneda and take the Tokyo Monorail. Will there be any sort of additional purchase for each of us?

nope, assuming you have credit left on your cards that is.

Suica and PASMO were effective both railways and bus lines(of PASMO) before March 2013,too.

So You and friend cards no problem for using Tokyo Mono-rail(Suica area).

However most foreign travalers(also Japanese travel beginners) have misunderstood about balance of IC card system.
Not enough balance as full covered fare(between AtoB stn) when gate in(touching) possible.
Re-charge by "fare adjustment machine" at arrival train station before gate out(touching).

But in Mono-rail stn cannot open less than "150Y" each card balance when gate in.
"150Y" means "starting fare" as dep to (nearest)next stn of Tokyo Mono-rail.

BTW Haneda to Asakusa direct?
If so by Keikyu line(not Mono-rail) best no transfer most about 40 min.
