Nikko Edomura

How long is enough time spent there? Are all the shows different?

I'm planning on catching the first free shuttle bus there which would get me there around 10:35 and am planning on catching the 2pm shuttle bus to the shrines so I can see those in the same day. Does that sound feasible?

I did the shrines, Edomura, and Tsukemono-mura all in a day once from Fukushima. I spent about 3 hours at Edomura and probably would have left sooner except I was with some other people. In the same town is a large shop called Nikko Tsukemono-mura, or Nikko Pickle Village. They had 100s of different types of Japanese pickles.

The shows in the Edo Village seemed to occur randomly but they may have been scheduled. The only one I remember though was the ninja attack where they slid down ropes on the mountainside to come into the town.
