Hi im traveling around 12-18dec and i need some help on the places to go as there are so many tours to choose from. its my first time and im going with my fiance. there are differences in term of southern hokkaido and the central. pls advice!(:

I would recommend something like this:
12/12 Arriving Sapporo (stay Sapporo)
13/12 Otaru day trip (stay Sapporo)
14/12 Sapporo city day trip(stay Sapporo)
15/12 Sapporo city day trip(stay Sapporo)
16/12 Noboribetsu Onsen (stay Noboribetsu)
17/12 Hakodate day trip (stay Hakodate)
18/12 Depart from Hakodate

Unfortunately, I am afraid mid-DEC is too early for ski season. There isn't enough snow. Usually ski season starts late DEC ~ early JAN. Niseko is a good place for ski, check it out, and best of luck :) http://www.niseko.ne.jp/en/
