Narita to Fukuoka evening flight. September 2013/8/16 03:51
Hi!!

My Emirates flight arrives to Narita Tokyo (If no delay of course ;) at 5:35 pm Then I need to fly to Fukuoka.

Not sure how long do I need in order to catch a domestic flight.... Keeping in mind, debarking, picking up luggage, customs, immigration and checking etc..

The only flight that I can find after 7pm to Fukuoka is with JAL for 267 € ouchh!!

Can you please help!!

How long should I take in consideration to make it safely to a domestic flight?

Is there a cheaper flight to Fukuoka after 7:00 PM?

Many thanks!!! cheers

The 19:45 JAL flight to Fukuoka is co-shared by Emirates. You should have no problems making the transfer.

Since it is co-shared by Emirates, I strongly recommend to book it in combination with your international flight through Emirates.

There is no other flight. But I think there are various ways to get a cheaper fare. Even if you can't get it cheaply through Emirates, you may be able to get a better fare through JAL. It also depends on your travel date. For example, if your travel date is more than 28 days in advance, you should be able to get fares of around 16,000 yen through JAL:

When I visit my home town in Fukuoka, I fly UAL to Narita and take the connecting ANA flight, an UAL Star Alliance, to Fukuoka for additional 10,000yen(one way)and get 75% mileage credit to UAL from the ANA flight. You can do the similar with Emirates/JAL when you purchase the international flight ticket

JL3057 is the only flight leaves for Fukuoka on the same day around 20:00.

I think you will be taken about 45-60 minutes max to get out Narita leaves for Haneda airport by a limousine bus. The bus takes 60-85 minutes to Haneda airport so it will be rushed but there are some flights ANA273(20:00), JAL335(20:00), SKY27(20:00), SFJ59(20:05). But again it is quite gamble.

On the next day, there is an early flight leaves for Fukuoka from Narita by Jet star Japan(GK131) at 6:10. But you are not allowed stay in the terminal at night(after 23:00). An early arrival around 3:30 is permitted.

Actually, if you are taking a round trip ticket and you'll fly back to Narita, there are air passes that you could take advantage of. See:

There are some blackout dates for some but September is OK.
If you fly JAL or ANA, or a carrier in their frequent flier alliances you could get an even better deal.
At any rate, you should arrive tired but in one piece, and getting into Fukuoka from the airport is very convenient as well.
