Alpico bus tickets at Nagano station?

Hi folks,
I plan to start the Alpine Tour by taking the 7.24 Shinkansen from Tokyo to Nagano where I switch to the Alpico bus to Ogisawa. As there are only 11 minutes to make the connection (8:49 to 9:00), does anyone know where to buy the bus ticket at Nagano station? Or are they available on the bus itself? Thanks for your help.

The tickets are sold at the 長野駅前総合案内所（長野駅善光寺口）, which is a ticket office at the Zenkoji Exit of Nagano Station. This is near where the actual bus will be departing. I think you can also pay on board of the bus, but I am not 100% sure. If you board at Nagano Station, I think you are supposed to buy it at the ticket office.

It is a little bit risky. There is no room for a mistake. But if you make no mistake, then you may be able to make the transfer.

I am not confident, but it seems the bus to Ogisawa starts from No.5 (yellow) bus stop which is on the Higashi-guchi (East exit) side. I think the OP should go out from the East Exit. Am I missing something?

Yes, I was wrong. The bus departs from the East side of the station. However, the ticket counter is on the Zenkoji side.

If you want to make the connection, I don't think you have the time to drop by the ticket counter. I would directly go to the bus stop and try to buy the tickets on the bus. I would also make a back up plan in case you miss the connection.

According to Alpico website, the bus departs from No.5 yellow bus stop at East Exit of Nagano station. Ticket is sold at a "sovenior shop" there. http://www.alpico.co.jp/access/station/nagano_sta_navi_25.html
