Hi, I have plan to travel to Sapporo for 26 Oct - 28 Oct 2013. I thinking to visit Furano & Bei for 1 day trip from Sapporo. I understand that the best time to visit is July, when the lavender fields are in bloom. Shoould I go there during late of Oct? I need some suggestion. Thanks

Late October is, indeed, not ideal timing. Most flowers will be gone. Winter is about to start, but usually there is no snow yet. But with the right expectations, Furano can make a pleasant holiday destination at any time of the year.
