Kamikochi on Oct 31 and Nov 1

I will be in Kamikochi OCT 31 as well as NOV 1.

Would it be too late to see some Autumn Foliage ? Would the weather be too cold then?

I am lost of direction as what to do in the area. I love nature , but not a strenuous hike to a mountain top. My legs no longer accept such challenge.

Would any member please advise a nice hike ( 2- 4 hours) for the day ? Or "must see " places to explore in the area.

The peak period is usually mid to late October. So, I think there is a chance that some nice colors may still be visible.

No, it is never too cold if you bring proper clothing. In late October, daytime highs are around 10 degrees. Nighttime lows just under zero.
