Near Yoshino Accomodation

I am going to Japan in march of next year, and I want to go to Yoshinoyama to see the cherry trees, however, almost all hotels are already booked, and those that still have rooms are very expensive.

Could you recommend a near-place to stay the night that is not very far?

Is Oyodo a good place to stay?

I recommend a hotel in the Tennoji/Abenobashi district of Osaka. It is a 75 minute ride by direct limited express train, which I recommend to make seat reservations for in advance.

Or is that not close enough?

Are you sures hotels are already booked? Many do not accept reservations more than 3 months in advance.

Also, march may be a little too early for cherry blossoms in Yoshino. Because of the elevation it usually is in full bloom in mid to late april.

The peak is usually in early to mid April. Very rarely in late March or late April.
