Bus schedule from Kurokawa to Beppu

I plan to spend a nite in Kurokawa and back to Beppu on the next day but dont know the bus schedule or other travelling mode as it is in japanese. Appreciate if someone can help on the schedule. I will be there in early Dec 13. Thank you

The Kurokawa Hot Spring Association recommends you to rent a car because the public transportaion is inconvenient .
But Kyushu Odan Bus Company has two round-trip services daily between Beppu and Kurokawa.
The fare is 2,300 yen for each way and the time table is as follows;
1. From Beppu to Kurokawa
Beppu Koutsu Center----Beppu Railway Station----Kurokawa

Do I need to book the bus ticket in advance and how? Please advise. Thank you

You can book the bus ticket no earlier than one month in advance, but unfortunately there is not English version of the booking system.
Telephone booking is available and the booking telephone number is +81963544845 . ( the top number 81 is Japan country code)
But I don't know whether the booking staff can speak english or not.
If not, you should email your hotel in Beppu and ask them to book the bus ticket for you.
