Takaragawa onsen to lake Chuzenji

Is it safe to drive on this route in mid November?
We're worry about the snow.

It depends on when in November you plan to travel because part of route 63 is closed for winter starting around late November.

We'll drive along that route on 16 November 2013.

In the past that road has closed on November 19th, so it will probably be the same this year. Also, according to past weather records there was snow on the ground around the time that you'll be travelling. I'm not so sure I would recommend taking that road, especially if you are not familiar driving in snow. It would be much safer, and just as fast to take the expressway down to Numata and then connect with 120 from there.
