Resort Shirakami/Aomori - weather now

Nov 16-2013.
i am scheduled to take resort shirakami from niigata to aomori to enjoy the views.
is it worth to take given the tons of snow falling in aomori?

please help me decide.
any jr rail train halt now due to snow? I cannot find info here in niigata.

About 30cm covered in mountain area 2 days ago
but already melt most flat ground and car road.
Mountain area left a little but not "ton" of snow.
Just wet(some part iced) and cold walk careful.

Todays morning stopped a train attacked broken tree by heavy snow
and other part power cut[停電] accident happend
but basically no problem this weekend will be not heavy snow.
