Is there snow in Karuizawa in mid December

Greetings,
We are planning to travel to Karuizawa in mid-December and am wondering if there is snow at that time of the month or would it come later?

Karuizawa generally does not receive a lot of snow. Especially in December, there is usually not a lot of snow or no snow at all.
This following is the snow depth on December 15 of past years to give you an idea:
2012: no snow
2011: no snow
2010: no snow
2009: no snow
2008: 4cm
2007: no snow
2006: no snow
2005: 4cm
2004: no snow
2003: no snow
