Snow in Sapporo

I want to rent and ride a bycicle in Sapporo in mid-April -around April 10 to 15- is this possible or is it still be covered by snow at that time?
If not, from when is this possible?

But not rcommend 5 days all bc still winter air just cold.
Local people very storonger against cold condition than no snow countries traveler.

Also rent a cycle(Not calling most "bike" in Japan) day use most.
And Sapporo city is not small route check again by google map.

Get direction of google map(.com) works "by bike" in US and some countries
but in Japan roads not works.

Last summer I rented a bicycle there near Sapporo Eki (I went from Sapporo Station to Otaru dream beach and back), it is a good place to go cycling.
