Is Hirase Onsen open?

I was researching the Hirase Onsen (hours, access, etc.) but I do not read Japanese. I know it is closed Wednesdays, but "google-translate" seems to indicate that maybe the public bath is temporarily closed ??

My interpretation is that it is closed on wednesday of each week unless it's a national holiday, but there may be times when a temporary closure is required for maintenance of the spring.

Now I agree with mw. It states that there are occasional closures due to maintenance. It doesn't mean that it is currently closed.

I suppose we should just call before we go then?
