Hi all,

is there somewhere near Takayama that my kids can touch snow in late Apri?

Needs to be accessible by public transport as we are using a real pass to see Japan.

Ski site "Ciao Ontake Snow Resort" best
but not access convenient(no bus) from JR Kuguno stn(near JR Takayama stn).
Taxi : over 12,000Y/around 60min oneway (rent a car cheaper from Takayama)
