Traveling to Yokohama

I'm currently live in Nagoya and I want to know how to get from Nagoya to Yokohama and to the Chinatown. Also is there student discounts for the traveling transportations and how to get it?

When you arrive at Yokohama, take the Minatomirai Line Yokohama Station to Motomachi Chukagai Station

It's also possible to walk from Yokohama JR to Chinatown... not that far

As aerond said, I and my girl friend often walked to China-town from JR Yokohama or Sakuragicho station, about 40mins.

Night bus cheaper than Shinkansen right
but arrival too early morning worthless.
Chinatown open after 10:00 am most
