Ciao. After visiting Yokohama & Kamakura we move to Nagoya. We would like to spend two daays there also visiting Toyota. The question is: BEST places to see in Nagoya (1 day) and is it really beautiful the Toyota Municipal Art museum?? I have already booked the visit at the car production plant... Grazie, as usual! If you want to stay in Nagoya city, then Nagoya castle and area is quite nice. The main keep is a reconstruction with a fairly nice museum inside and you can also watch them rebuilding other buildings using traditional methods. They also have 'samurai' from that area walking around that you can take pictures with. Though they've become popular so you might have to wait in line with history fangirls to get a picture. Osu Kannon Temple was a okay, though it takes very little time to visit it. However the shopping arcades that are near it make for a relaxing walk and shopping experience along with having some good places to eat. I'm sure you already have but don't forget to poke at the Nagoya Japan guide page. http://www.japan-guide.com/e/e2155.html

Thanks for the first answer. Please is there anyone that can confirm that from Nagoya to Toyota JR has not a direct connection? We have a JR pass this is why we have to use JR ... (arrival station should be shintoyota, isn't it?) Last question, please: how far is the Toyota Municipal Museum from the station (walking..).GRAZIE!
