Izu free q kippu pass 2014/1/31 12:01
1). Can I take any Shinkansen from Tokyo station or shinagawa?

2) total cost incl seat fee from Tokyo station to atami is 4080. Do I still need pay the seat fee of 2100 with the izu free q kippu pass? We're going to atami on February 10. Do we need to reserve the seat?

How does the pass work? Do we need to get the ticket first or board on the train?

3) in izu, are we allowed to take any train such as the super view odoriko?

Thanks,

Jess

Now no "Izu free Q kippu" (by JR-Tokai)
sales overed end of OCT 2013.

Similar ticket "Minami-izu free ticket[南伊豆フリー乗車券]" by JR-East(not JR-Tokai)
from Tokyo area[東京都区内] : 6000Y
http://www.jreast.co.jp/tickets/info.aspx?GoodsCd=1727
But not covered Shinkansen(by JR-Tokai)
take LtdExp Odoriko fastest from Tokyo/Shinagawa mainly
one train from Shinjuku by local(not high speed) line.

6000Y means base fare part only if take Odoriko/Super view Odoriko
needs LtdExp fee plus until get off station.

Thank you for your reponse.

Any other pass I can buy as we're going to IZU from shinjuku on Feb 10 and back to shinjuku on Feb 13. We'll stay in Izu for 3 nights.

Thank you.

Jessica-san,

In case you would like to leave Shinjuku, another private railway company ODAKYU (小田急電鉄) deals two type of free passes to Izu area.
One is valid around Ito city and another is around Minami (South) Izu.
Its website is as follow. Please contact or click "Odakyu Sightseeing Service Center" for more detail. Have a nice trip!
