Travel between Ainokura and Ogimachi

Hi,
I'm planning to visit shirakawa-go for the light up event on 15th Feb but as all accommodations in Ogimachi is fully booked, i will be staying in Ainokura.

I will be planning to travel Ainokura to check in, then to Ogimachi for for the winter light up event and then travel back to Ainokura after the event.

From my understanding, there is no public transport back into Ainokura after 5pm. Would you be able to advise on any taxis which are willing to charter for this trip and are able to pick us up from Ogimachi, or whether it would be dangerous to rent a car from Takayama and drive in February as it is winter there is snow on the roads.
