3 Days in Sapporo

What to do in 3 full days in Sapporo? Including one day trips...

I am commenting to follow since I am headed to Sapporo soon as well... We are taking the over night ferry from Hachinohe -- does anyone have any advice on what to bring, etc? we are staying in the tatami mat room.

Also -- so far in looking for things to do I've found the following:

The Sapporo Brewery, Maruyama Zoo (they have a mini snow festival happening as well), Ishiya Chocolate Factory, Kaitaku-no Mura (historical village), the Ice Hotel at Sweden Hills Golf Club, and apparently there is a place to have dinner in an igloo...

what have you found so far?

I lived Obihiro city in Hokkaido untill 19 years old.
I recommend to enjoy nature.

Hokkaido was pioneered about 150 years ago.Anywhere is still great nature except the city.

1.Rent a car
2.Drive to somewhere in nature
3.Eat AMERICAN DOG you can buy it at SEVEN ELEVEN

I would not recommend renting a car if you are visiting both places as both have good public transportation and especially if you have no experience in winter driving.
