Takatsuki Hotel and late arrival in Kansai

Hi everybody! Our flight will touch down at Kansai Airport at 8:00pm on March 29, 2014. We will be staying at the Takatsuki Kyoto Hotel. We can't get any response from the hotel itself if they have airport-hotel-airport transfers, but we have read that they have a shuttle from the train station. My question is: does anybody know if there's still train before 10:00pm near the hotel? Up to what time is the shuttle service of the hotel if we arrive late in the evening?

Sorry to give you bad news, but that hotel is mid way between Osaka and Kyoto. It's 20 to 25 minutes from either city by local train. It will take about 1-1/2 hours to get there from Kansai Airport.
Is there some reason to stay there?

I actually ran out of hotels for the cherry blossom season. I ended up there because it's the most affordable among the hotels with available rooms. I worry that the hotel isn't answering my email. I don't know how many rides to that area if by train. And if there will be a delay just in case, the train stations might close. huhuhu
