Hitachi Seaside Park from Tokyo

Hi There,

I am planning to go Hitachi seaside park on early May. May I know is this a good time to see full bloom? I read that there is bus from from Tokyo station to the entrance at Kaihin Kouen Iriguchi bus. Is this correct?

Go to Katsuta Station JR Jyoban Line, take a bus from there. Or,
Go to Mito Station by bus, Transfer to Jyoban Line, go to Katsuta Station, take a bus from there.

Thanks for your reply. I prefer to take the bus as it's more direct, easier and cheaper. So I just go to tokyo station and is the bus stop near the exit? How do I know where to get down? Does the bus stop in front of hitachi park entrance?
