Where to go late June? Beppu or Okinawa?

Hello,

I ll visit with my wife Japan for 2 weeks next June-July.Except Tokyo, Nikko and Kyoto i have to spent 4 more days from 28/6 to 2/7. The first option is to visit Naha and Kerama islands and the second to visit Beppu for 2 days and for more 2 days Nagasaki. What about the weather and what do you propose.

Okinawa better.

Northern Kyushu area still rainy season(tsuyu).
Okinawa area already overed usual.

I also recommend Okinawa because the weather tends to be much better and because late June is not the best time of the year (hot and humid) for hot spring bathing.

The weather in Okinawa in late June and early July tends to be very nice, and the crowds still low because the summer holidays have not started yet. It is my personal favorite time to visit Okinawa.
