Mt Fuji - Oshino - how to get there

Hello, could you please give me some guidelines how to get from Nara to Oshino near Mt Fuji. Here is exact address: 401-0511 Yamanashi, Oshino, Shibokusa 258. I have a JR pass, so that would ve a prefered option, but there is no station near by. Many thanks for your help.

Take a train to Kyoto, then a Hikari shinkansen to Mishima (one direct train every 2 hours), then local trains via Numazu to Gotemba and then a bus in direction of Kawaguchiko. The buses to Kawaguchiko stop near Oshino at Oshino-Iriguchi, which is 2.6 kilometers from your minshuku: http://goo.gl/maps/WAMuXA small number of buses make a detour to Oshino Hakkai near your minshuku.
