Kyoto - Late cherry blossom

Hello,
We will arrive in Kyoto on April 13th for a 1 week stay. I have already planned for this afternoon the Imperial park and palace (opened without reservations) and later the Kiyumizu Dera temple lit at night.
Then, I would like some suggestions for the next one or 2 days in order to go to areas where we still have a chance to see blooming trees.
Arashiyama ? Higashiyama (North / South) ? Mount Hieizan ? ...
Thanks

The garden behind Heian Shrine lasts usually a few days longer than other places, as well as Haradanien: http://www.japan-guide.com/e/e3951.htmlAlternatively, I recommend side trips to destinations like Yoshino or Hikone, which are about one week behind the pace of Kyoto.
