Hi all we arrive in Tokyo on Thursday 10 April. Woo hoo. Where can we see cherry blossoms at that time? Not interested in a day trip out of the city. Any suggestions most appreciated. Thanks

Im in the same boat, arriving on the 8th. From what I have been told Shinjuku Gyoen have a few variety of late bloomers and also Showa Kinen Koen about 25-30mins From Shinjuku station flower a few days later. Link Below: http://www.japan-guide.com/e/e3050.htmlGood luck as I have my fingers crossed as well that the wind and rain stays away. It looks like a few cold days are coming up which I hope will also preserve the flowers for a few more days?

Thanks for that info. We'll just have to cross our fingers and see what nature delivers
