JR Hokkaido Bus in Sapporo

Hi all,

Has anyone used the JR Pass with JR Hokkaido bus within the city in Sapporo? I know that we can't use the express bus on any of the route. It seems even the JR Pass website is not very clear which route I can/cannot take.

I have found (through a combination of google maps and JR Hokkaido bus website) that I can take certain bus from the Sapporo station to a sight.

Example: JR Bus 55 from Sapporo station to Miyanosawa station (for Shiroi kobito Park)

It is all the local JR buses as opposed to express buses. The network of JR Hokkaido local buses around Sapporo is shown on the following maps:

Yes, you should be able to use these buses with the Japan Rail Pass.
