New Yearfs Eve countdown at Zojoji temple

Dear All,
End of this year I will be in Tokyo celebrating X-mas and the New Year together with my son and daughter.
We intended to go to Zojoji Temple for New Yearfs Eve countdown but I understood it was cancelled since 2012/2013. Security had become uncontrollable as I understood it. The Zojoji website however seems not to be fully up to date regarding this issue.
So could somebody inform me if it will be held again at the end of this year? And if so if there are special procedures in place to witness the countdown ceremony at the temple complex?

I think that there is no possibility of countdown events is resumed the end of the year in Zojoji. It is written in Japanese Web of the temple, is also updated on February 4 of this year, the event to be canceled.
However, I think many Japanese, so go to temples and shrines on the night of New Year's Eve, many worshipers will go also to Zojoji.
