Still Sakura around Mount Aso? 2014/4/15 00:44
Dear forum members,
Do you think I still can see Sakura around mount Aso and mount Kuju around 20-21 April this year? I will be hiking there after arriving from Europe and would be above 1000 metres above sea level. So maybe a chance?
Aregato, thanks in advance for your reaction. Michael

On April 20, wild cherry tree tour will open in Kuju Plateau.
So, I think cherry tree is in bloom still me.

Haro thanks for your reaction. Do you think we can see sakura also in the Kirishima National Park around 20th April? Are there also enough cherry trees to enjoy flowers and get idea of sakura (unfortunately we arrive in Japan on 19th April in Fukuoka). After mount Aso we would like to hike one day in Kirishima NP and climb Karakunidake 1700m there.
Thanks for your answer or answer of other participants of this amazing and usefull Japan forum.

If double cherry blossom, it may be in bloom in Kirishima.
Is located in the Village Park of Kirishima myth and Kirishima-jingu Shrine and Kirishima Heights national recreation facilities.
