Arashiyama, Kinkakuji and Ryoanji temples 2014/4/16 14:16
hi,
i planning a day trip to arashiyama district

from arashiyama station start frm

1.bamboo groves
2. Tenryuji temple
3.saga torrimoto preserved street
4. Togetsukyo bridge area

Q: my sequence correct ??


Q: i understand there are keifuku train going to ryongji & kinkauji temples, which one should i visit first?

after the first temple how do i go to the next temple? and after then would like to back to kyoto station.

please advise.

I recommend that you go by bus from Arashiyama Station to Saga Toriimoto ahead. This is because, there is positioned higher elevation relatively Saga Toriimoto, in order to walk from there, it means that it is downhill, it can be easy.

I think about the order in which around Kinkakuji and Ryoanji, if you're riding a Randen, go to Ryoanji from Ryoanji Station, then, it is good to go to Kinkakuji on foot or bus. The road to Kinkakuji is called Kinukake no Michi, is a famous walking route.
