Schedule time on overnight bus

I reserved a seat on overnight bus from Hirosaki to Shinjuku which schedule time of arrival is 7.40 a.m. Does anyone know if usually these buses come on time or experience some heavy delays please? I don't think that during the night it will be traffic congestion, isn't it?

Indeed, because traffic congestion tends to be very rare during the night, overnight buses are usually not delayed.

I used three times the bus between Kyoto and Tokyo (willer express). Whenever we were on time. As they make long stops on motorway service stations, they adjust the time of restart.
