Hokkaido 20-23 December 2014

Planned to visit Hokkaido from Dec 20-23.
1) What's the available attraction during this period?
2) Will not stay in a ski resort. What'll be the cost of skiing for non-resident? Say for 2-3hrs, incl rental of skiing gears.
3) Any ice fishing activities? Where? How much will it cost?

Rental of ski equipment is typically 4000-5000 yen. CLothing is typically 3000-4000 yen. And a half day lift pass is typically around 3000-4000 yen. Lower in smaller resorts.

Not sure about the ice fishing.
