Hi,
I will in Japan from 10-16 May. Will be going to Hokkaido and staying in tokyo for 1-2 days I am hoping to see as many flowers as possible this spring. I will be heading to Hokkaido for the cherry blossoms but was also hoping to see the tulip, pink moss and wisteria if possible. Can I ask if it is possible plan? Need advise in planning for the trip as well!
Thank you so much!

For cherry blossoms in Sapporo, I am giving you a link: http://www.japan-guide.com/e/e5316.htmlFor Pink Moss near Tokyo, I think it will be too late to go to Chichibu, and I would try the Fuji Shibazakura Festival in the Fuji Five lakes area. http://www.japan-guide.com/e/e6919.htmlFor Wisteria near Tokyo, you could try the Kameido Shrine in Tokyo, but you are probably better off going to Ashikaga Flower Park near Nikko. For the two flowers that I gave you two locations, my strategy is to go to higher elevations to catch the flowers blooming a week or two later than the locations first mentioned for both flowers. For Tulips, I am at a bit of a loss, but I would probably try Gunma Flower Park. http://www.maebashi-cvb.com/engilsh/spots/03.htmThis is fairly far from Tokyo, but it might work. As for

Thank you so much @ebaychucky11 :) I think I am going to take your suggestion and go to Fuji Shibazakura Festival, really sounds so cool!
Can I ask if it is possible to cover Ashikaga Flower Park and Gunma Flower Park both at the same time ? Do you happen to know if I can go to Gunma Flower Park via public transport? Don't seems to have other travel alternatives except taxi
I have only 2 nights in Tokyo, would like to make the best of what I can.
Thanks you so much

OK, I am going to assume a few things. First off, that you are going to purchase some sort of JR Pass that allows for Shinkansen travel. The other thing that I am going to assume is that you are willing to get up early.
The two parks are suprisingly close to each other. they are about 2 hours apart.
I would start by going to Ashikaga Flower Park, because it's a secialty flower park, and you will probably not linger there too long.
Starting at 7 AM (OK, that may be too early, but I am going to go with it) You can catch the Shinkansen Nasumo 251 at 7:04 to Oyama Station, and then transfer to the JR Ryomo Line to get to Tomita Station at 8:29. It is a 15 minute walk to get to the park, so you will get there just before it opens.
I am going to assume 2 hours in the park, so that you will depart at 11:00 AM, and get back to Tomita Station around 11:15 to go to Gunma Park.
I would take the JR Ryomo Line to Kiryu Station, and then walk to Nishikiryu station to ride the Jomo Electric Private rail to get to Ogo Station. There is a bus that goes towards Gunma Park. The description in the Maebashi website talks about a Demand Bus, which I am not sure what that means, but it sounds like a bus that just goes to Gunma Park. You should be able to get to the Park about 1:30 PM.
The park is open until 5 PM on Weekdays, and 6 PM on the weekend. I believe that 3 and a half hours should be sufficient.
You will then have about a two hour trip back to Tokyo, So you should arrive back around 7:30-8:00 PM.
So... Yes it is possible.
I hope that you enjoy your trip.
