Enoshima: Iwaya caves are closed

I have just visited Enoshima on April 17, 2014 to check Iwaya caves just to find out that the caves have been closed since April 1, 2014. They don't have the exact date when the caves will be reopened and they also don't have the sign notifying the closing in English, except when you arrived in front of the entrance. Pretty disappointed but I still love the island, just an FYI, for visitors who are interested in Iwaya caves.

This page seems to provide up-to-date information. They state that the period of closure is not determined yet, but it sounds like they want to reopen it before the summer season:

This page says that the Enoshima 1 day Pass is suspended from 4/1 through 6/30 due to the closure of the Iwaya Caves. I plan to go in July so I'm hopeful of it opening then.
